It's Day 15 of the 21 Detox and I wanted to share with you my tasty, semi-spicy Roasted Radish Chips!
Technically, I don't like radishes, I juice them, but I always try to mask the taste with another juice, such as carrot juice.
The combination of olive oil and spices really brings out a unique taste to radishes.
It only takes about 20 minutes to bake these up...if you prefer you can slice the radishes into four small chunks, toss them in olive oil and spices and roast them that way!
All done, and I must admit, even my husband liked them, and he only likes roasted meat...enjoy!
Day 15: 21 Day Detox with Roasted Radish Chips
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
Servings: 2
Ingredients:
3 cups radishes, sliced about 1/4 inch thick
2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon creole seasoning
parsley to garnish
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Add sliced radishes, olive oil and seasonings to a large bowl, mix well.
Place in a single layer on a cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, flip over, bake 10 more minutes. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
